Tom graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Duquesne University in 2004 and received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 2008 and the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) credential from the AICPA in 2013. After college, he worked as an auditor for the Federal Government including time as a Revenue Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Following time in the tax departments for a small and mid-sized CPA firm and the tax department of a Real Estate Management company, he opened his own practice to provide a client-oriented and affordable option to individuals and small businesses.
Tom currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Norwin Chamber of Commerce, the Norwin Rotary Club, and the Norwin Girls Youth Basketball Association.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen, and his son and daughter, Alex and Aubrey, along with playing golf and biking. He is a coach to his children's baseball, soccer, and basketball teams and is a season ticket holder for the Duquesne Dukes Men's Basketball team.
